Abstract:Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a new, non-invasive imaging system, can produce the structure data of retina and choroid, shows the structure and blood flow information. Split-spectrum amplitude-decorrelation angiography (SSADA) algorithman (an important part of OCTA) can help reduce the signal-to-noise ratio, enhancing visualization of retinal vasculature using motion contrast. OCTA can provide more meaningful image data for the treatment which is a major breakthrough in the eye detection method. Currently there is lack of effective early diagnosis methods for glaucoma. OCTA as a parameter, can evaluate the structural parameters of glaucoma. This article will review the application of this new non-invasive method in the clinical application of three types of glaucoma: Angle-closure glaucoma, open angle glaucoma and normal tension glaucoma.
