Abstract:Color doppler flowing imaging (CDFI) and optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) are common noninvasive technologies for ophthalmologic examination. Both of them are applied in the clinical diagnosis and the mechanism exploration of various ocular diseases including glaucoma. Although the utilization of these technologies enriches the vascular hypothesis of the pathogenesis of glaucoma, it isn't applied widely in clinical glaucoma diagnosis and treatment. As these two technologies focus on the ocular blood flow and the state of blood vessels in the eye respectively, this review summarizes the progress of CDFI and OCTA in the exploration of the pathogenesis of glaucoma and further look forward to the future.
