Abstract

Cataract represents a major cause of vision loss in uveitis. The visual outcome of surgical treatment is impaired by both the complications of uveitis and the inflammation itself. Thus, surgeons are required to pay more attention to choose an appropriate time for operation, to select suitable procedures and intraocular lens, and to control complications after surgery in order to obtain satisfactory visual outcome by surgical treatment.
