Abstract:Traditional corneal refractive surgeries using excimer laser has proven their safety, effcacy, and stability in correcting low degree hyperopia. However, in the clinic, traditional corneal refractive surgeries have certain limitations in the treatment of correcting moderate to high degree hyperopia. At present, a variety of novel corneal refractive surgical methods have been used to correct moderate to high hyperopia. This review summarizes the corrective effect of various types of corneal refractive surgery for correcting hyperopia and their related infuence factors.
