Abstract: Currently, with the popularity of various electronic products, the number of imaging products for myopia is increasing. We recognize that high myopia can lead to a series of serious eye complications, with an increased focus on damage. Therefore, early and accurate diagnosis plays an important role in the occurrence and development of myopia. Choosing the best and most convenient imaging method and accurately interpreting the images is of great significance for clinical diagnosis and treatment. This article introduces the challenge of myopia imaging, including different parts of the myopic eye (including retina, choroid, sclera, etc.). Imaging methods applicable to different ocular complications are discussed, as well as potential biomarkers and myopia imaging in the progression of myopia or its complications. New treatment methods in the field of imaging are promising.
