Abstract With the rapid development of the light-emitting diode(LED) industry, research on the impact of LED lighting on health becomes the key for future industrial development. This article introduces progress both domestically and abroad on the current research and standardization dynamic of LED lighting on health. The systematic framework and research progress on the impact of LED lighting on health is emphasized using the visual physiological index.
