Abstract:Posterior chamber refractive lens (ICL) implants are now gradually accepted as one of the main correction methods for refractive errors with good safety, effectiveness, reversibility and other advantages. Although the materials and design of the ICL have gradually improved, there are various postoperative complications in ICL implants, such as complicated cataract, secondary glaucoma, and corneal endothelial cell injury, which can alter the postoperative effect and even require another operation. This article reviews the classification, pathogenesis, prevention and treatment measures of these complications after ICL implantation.
