Myopia is not only the problem of refractive correction, fundus diseases of high myopia, which because of poorly control of myopia, has become the first cause of irreversible blindness in Chinese people. In order to cause the attention of myopia prevention, we should monitor the changes of parapapillary atrophy using fundus photographs, warning patients in early stage. Modern society have more near work, the more over adjustment as well as accommodative lag. It′s the major reason of compensatory axial extension, which lead to myopia. Therefore, reduce accommodation in near work is the central work of myopia prevention, not only alleviate the accommodation of ciliary, but also reduce the convergence adjusting. Actually, Three years′ clinical trial of spherical plus prism shows good results in controlling myopia, but lack of multi-center clinical trials. The model of myopia prevention needs to be improved, using the changes of parapapillary atrophy as the indicator, with intelligent products to monitor the ill habit of using eyes, and to give personalized control scheme.
